Ealing CCG communicates with patients and members of the public through various social media channels (Twitter and Facebook). We promote local and national health campaigns; inform patient and members of the public about our commissioning projects; we invite Ealing residents to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) usually held in September each year.
Social media is an excellent way to reach a wider audience, especially younger people. Currently (February 2020) Ealing CCG Twitter has 1633 followers and this number is increasing weekly. We engage with members of the public and third sector organisations through direct messages. We also use Twitter to encourage members of the public to participate in our surveys and give us their feedback about health services commissioned by Ealing CCG.
Ealing CCG works in partnership with local community organisations and sometimes we promote and inform the public about events or campaigns that they would like to promote. Usually they contact us through direct messages on Twitter.
